About Judy

I have owned boats ranging from 30′ center console fishing boats to 100′ sailboats. The “middle boats” were a new 76′ Palmer Johnson ketch named Scheherazade and a 80 ‘Don Brooke ketch called OZ). I have cruised from Maine to Alaska and most ports and islands in-between. I became a licensed yacht broker in 1995 and began specializing in trawlers in 1998. In 2000 I opened JW Yachts as a brokerage company specializing in trawlers, “fast trawlers”, and long-range cruisers. I have since sold over 100 trawlers and attended sea trial and survey on most of them.

My love of boats comes from being a previous owner and cruiser and I  bring those experiences with me in my professional job as a yacht broker.
